Traditional Thai yoga massage Course Dates:
In 2024 Level 1 is offered over two weekends every January and September.
The tuition for Level 1 is $750 ( A $100 Deposit is required to your space),
Course Hours are the same for both weekends: Friday night 5-9pm, Saturday 9-5 pm & Sunday 9am-1pm.

Note: Each Level of Thai Massage = 30 NCBTMB hrs. of continuing education by an approved provider. (Total = 90 hrs. to Certification plus 10 documented practice massages/level.)

PLEASE NOTE: Level 1 is a 30 hr day introductory course, you learn to perform a 90-minute Thai yoga massage and the basics. 30 NCBTMB credits/hours. After you take Level 1 continuing dates are determined as a group by continuing students for Level 2 and 3 (most students need at least a month of practice time to continue to the next level). You can take any course you have completed again as many times as you like as a course assistant/model. I am interested in training good practitioners!

Learn at your own rate for $50 per hour. We create your own schedule! Learn at your own rate. You will two instructors (Anthony plus a student who has already taken the course who will serve ad the model and course assistant)
Each Thai move (stance/rock/touch technique) will be demonstrated so you can see it, do it, hear it and feel it to accommodate all types of learning: visual/active-kinetics/auditory/tactile etc.
It is strongly recommend that you schedule a session before we begin so you can experience what you will be learning and meet the Anthony the instructor and see the school!

Additional Information
The Practitioner's Certification is awarded after completion of Traditional Thai Yoga Massage Level 3 and documented practice massage. Each level includes a supervision (total 3 supervisions = 9 hrs of private instruction included in your tuition at no additional cost!) During the supervision, you review what you have learned as you perform and receive a massage with the instructor.
All massage moves are demonstrated (you get to see it), guided (you get to perform it), guided again (you get to receive it) with feedback from other students and the instructor. OM Yoga Studio & School of Thai Massage is an approved provider by NCBTMB (National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork). OM Yoga Studio & School of Thai Massage is an approved provider by NCBTMB (National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork).
Note for prospective students: If you want to learn Traditional Thai yoga massage. or Table-Thai-Yoga Massage, but have not received one, it's a good idea schedule a session to experience what you will be learning. I am committed to training skilled practitioners and mentoring all students to Certification. At least 3 months of regular yoga practice is recommended before learning Thai yoga massage. This course includes asana (yoga posture warm-up exercises), metta meditation on loving kindness and chanting the Wai Khru a traditional Buddhist prayer honoring the physician of the Buddha.

Supervision After Certification: Thai Yoga Massage Students are invited to periodically schedule Supervisions. Supervisions generally last about 3 hours. In a Supervision you will receive a massage from the instructor so you know how the moves feel from an expert practitioner (not a student) and you will perform a massage on the instructor to get expert feedback. Supervisions can be scheduled as many times as you like and are recommended at least once annually for continuous training as you hone your skills,. Scheduling a Supervision about one month after completing Level 1 is recommended to review, refine your technique, ask questions, get guidance and best of all receive a massage! A supervision is included for each level. The cost of additional supervisions is $100.
Prospective Students:
Students are encouraged to schedule a massage with Anthony the instructor to experience what you will be learning.
